Early life

On March 21, 1965, Orville Peck was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was raised in a musical family. His father, Joe Peck, was a drummer and his mother, Carole, was a singer. He began playing the guitar at the age of 10. His first instrument was a steel-string acoustic guitar. He learned to play the guitar with his father.

He attended high school in Johannesburg, where he learned to play the guitar. After graduating, he moved to Cape Town to attend the University of Cape Town. After graduation, he went back to Johannesburg to continue his music career.

At the age of 15, he started playing the drums. At the age of 16, he joined a band called the Rockingbirds. At age 11, he left South Africa for Canada and moved to Toronto, Ontario. Peck's music career began in 2003 when he met a woman named Jody at a club. They started a relationship and later married. Therefore, He has been living in Canada since 2004. He has two children with Jody. He is a Canadian citizen.
