Atom Heart Mother is a concept album with a focus, but it may not be as accessible as expected. It is Pink Floyd's most impenetrable album while signed to Harvest, yet it has interesting moments and is ultimately a strong release. However, the unevenness of the second side may make it more suitable for cultists rather than mainstream listeners.
