At its core, Blondes Have More Fun is Rod Stewart's signature disco offering, teeming with energizing rhythms and wispy, synthesized melodies. It's also his kitschiest, and probably most temporary work, loaded with tacky come-ons and risqué connotations. Fortunately, those elements make for a great album, even if the fun comes with a side of guilt. The record topped the charts with "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?", which to this day remains one of the top rock and disco amalgams. More tracks on the same wavelength, like "Ain't Love a Bitch," "Attractive Female Wanted," and the title cut, further add to the record's appeal.
