Audioslave, formed in Glendale, California in 2001, was an American rock supergroup comprised of the lead singer and rhythm guitarist from Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, along with former members of Rage Against the Machine, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk. Their debut album, 'Audioslave,' was first released on November 19, 2002 by Epic Records and Interscope Records.
