Description
Walter Wanderley, pioneer of Bossa Nova, was a renowned Brazilian Hammond Organist. This compilation features his latest versions recorded in the USA with talented musicians and a fantastic Hammond B3 sound. Despite his tragic death from alcoholism shortly after recording, his music still impresses with a mix of ARP, Fender Rhodes electric piano, piano and B3 organ. Although unknown in Brazil, Summer Samba put WW on the map in the USA, but his subsequent output did not match its success. This collection serves as a final musical tribute to this once popular star.
