Description
Brothers and Sisters, released a year after Eat a Peach, showcases a more streamlined style of musicianship for the Allman Brothers Band. Coupled with hits like "Ramblin' Man" and "Jessica", the album spent a month and a half at the top of the charts and achieved platinum sales. This was also the first album to feature the group's new members, Chuck Leavell on keyboards and Lamar Williams on bass, as well as Dickey Betts' emergence as a vocalist alongside Gregg Allman.
