Coke Escovedo, percussionist extraordinaire (and uncle of Sheila E) played with Cal Tjader, Santana and Azteca.
In 1976 he released his second solo studio album 'Comin’ At Ya!', an untterly succesfull combination of soul, funk and latin flavours
The album became highly influential and has been sampled many times - including by Eric B. & Rakim and MF Doom amongst others.
