The compilation "Dancing Time: The Best Of Eastern Nigeria's Afro Rock Exponents 1973 - 77" documents the dance music qualities of the Eastern Nigerian troupe, whose live skills were legendary. The Funkees moved to London, where they quickly made a name for themselves with their performances. There they recorded two groundbreaking albums before breaking up in 1977. "Dancing Time" contains 18 great grooving Afro-funk songs.
