Description

Hilton Felton is a name that excites rare groove collectors, and for good reason. As an exceptional keyboardist known for his soulful jazz grooves, Felton’s mastery of the Hammond B-3 shines throughout his work. Before launching his solo career, he collaborated with The Three Of Us to release the standout album "Dream Come True" in 1971, featuring guitarist David Mendenhall, bassist Joe Harris, and drummer Jonathan Setell.

This album is packed with soul-jazz gems, including tracks like "Here Comes David" and "Music Shall Never Die,"where the interplay between organ and guitar creates infectious grooves, enhanced by vibrant percussion. The track "Your Analysis" showcases a more aggressive side, with Mendenhall’s guitar drenched in distortion, while the ballad "Maybe You’ll Come Back To Me" features Setell crooning with the smoothness of Frank Sinatra.
