The tracks on this album were not simply compiled from previously released songs. Each track was specifically recorded by a group called JSR All Stars, which was formed by producer Arnaldo DeSouteiro. The artistic inspiration for this group comes from the legendary all-star ensembles of Creed Taylor such as CTI All Stars, Fuse One, Chroma, and CTI All-Star Jazz Band.
