The 1984 film Give My Regards to Broad Street, created by industry expert Paul McCartney, has been widely criticized for its convoluted plot involving stolen tapes, ghosts, and comical moustaches. The soundtrack, mostly composed of older McCartney material from Revolver to Tug of War, has also been deemed messy due to its re-recorded versions of songs, including recent hits like "Ballroom Dancing" and "So Bad." Despite this, the track "No More Lonely Nights" stands out as a beautiful mid-tempo tune featuring a stunning guitar solo by David Gilmour. However, the song is somewhat overshadowed by its three versions (or five on the CD reissue).
