The Three Degrees returned to the Top 40 with their 1975 "International" album, produced by Gamble & Huff. Though technically proficient, the group failed to inject their signature energy. Their rendition of "TSOP" & Marvin Gaye's "Distant Lover" seemed lacklustre. Struggling in the world of Philadelphia International, the Three Degrees had no new developments to offer. Despite this, "International" still left a mark. In a different context, it could have been invigorating.
