In 1979, the Commodores released their Midnight Magic album featuring their well-known ballad "Still." Other enjoyable tracks include "Wonderland," "You're Special," and "Gettin' It." While some critics may not have appreciated the more mainstream sound of "Sail On," it remains a charming and likable tune. Overall, while not essential, Midnight Magic has more strengths than weaknesses.
