Louie to Frisco is the twelfth studio album by Chuck Berry, released in 1968 by Mercury Records.

By 1972, Chuck Berry returned to Chess Records and achieved his biggest hit with "My Ding-a-ling" from his live album The London Chuck Berry Sessions (Chess). In light of his sudden resurgence in popularity, Mercury Records, where he had an unsuccessful three year stint, compiled this double-LP collection containing the highlights of his time with them.

For those unfamiliar with his Mercury recordings, this is a well-rounded selection and serves as a great companion to his 1967 double-LP release, Chuck Berry's 'Golden Decade.' The first disc includes the highly regarded Live at the Fillmore Auditorium album with the Steve Miller Band. The second disc, while not as consistent, features tracks from his other studio albums during this time period, including autobiographical songs like "Ma Dear," and "Check Me Out," from Chuck Berry in Memphis.
