It is the second installment in the five-part "Vaxis" arc, continuing the story of a couple on the run from tyrannical forces. Coheed and Cambria has spent 20 years breaking the mold in the music industry, creating a unique universe through their genre-spanning approach to songwriting and intricate story arc found in their albums and comic book series. Vaxis II is the follow-up to their successful debut, Vaxis I: The Unheavenly Creatures, released in 2018.
